Local poet William Michael Neary leads The Chipping Poetry Trail through the wonderful countryside that surrounds the charming village of Chipping. Along the way Michael will recite his Lyrical poems and share dramatic insights as to what inspired each poem, also discover how Michaels poetry continues to be set to music etc.
This slice of outdoor theatre has the backdrop of the Bowland Fells, Michaels well crafted poems are easy to comprehend and compliment the local scenery and the folk there in.
The Poetry Trail will take approximately 2 hours and is approximately 3 miles with a terrain guide of 3.

Ideally participants will meet at The Cobbled Corner Café at 10.30 am on the morning of their walk. A roll call will take place at 10.45am and leave from The Café at 11.00am.
Children must be accompanied by responsible adult. Due to the nature of the Trail and livestock in the fields, it is with regret no dogs are allowed.
Parking is available on the Chipping pay and display car park very close to the Poetry Trail meeting place which is: The Cobbled Corner Café, 2 Club Lane, Chipping, Preston, Lancashire. PR3 2QH.
