Lancashire Writing Hub are prowling the streets of Lancashire armed with a projector and extracts from the forthcoming publication – Word Soup: Year One.
Last night we hit Preston – the Harris Museum & Art Gallery and one or two other buildings besides… and attracted a number of other guerrilla colleagues – cheers guys! – and tonight we’ll be in Lancaster, hitting the Central Library 10.45-11.15pm… and on Tuesday 22nd we’ll be launching the book at the Word Soup Live Literature night at The Continental in Preston, starting at 8pm, £3.00 entry on the door and a GREAT line-up:
Sarah Hymas, Tom Fletcher, Socrates Adams-Florou, Norman Hadley, Mollie Baxter, Rachel McGladdery – and a great music set from Johnny5thwheel! There’ll be Open mic too – so bring along your 3 minutes of fame and get your name down if you want to get up and do your thing! (First come, first served, so running shoes on)
Other regional writers whose poetry and prose features in the book include A J Duggan, Nicholas Royle, Sandy Calico, J A Brunning, and a photo documentary from Outsoders by Garry Cook.
Word Soup on Tuesday 22nd is going to be a great night – don’t miss it!
